Nestled in Cabriès, between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, our guest house welcomes you to the heart of Provence. This guide contains everything you need to know to fully enjoy your stay.
Your base in Provence
La Milane occupies a central position in Provence: allow fifteen minutes to reach Aix-en-Provence, about 20 minutes to Marseille, and within an hour to an hour and a half to reach iconic sites such as the Alpilles, Arles, the Luberon, or the Calanques...

Parking
Our guest house, La Milane, has a private, well-lit, and spacious parking area located at the entrance to the property, with direct access to our facilities.
Arrivals & Departures
- Check-in: 4 PM – 9 PM
- Check-out: By 10:30 AM at the latest
We offer each of our guests a personalized and warm welcome, reflecting the spirit of La Milane.
To help us organize and reserve our availability to welcome you in the best possible conditions, please let us know your expected arrival time, even if approximate.
La Milane is a small, intimate establishment, and this information is very valuable to our internal organization.
In case of late arrival (after 9 PM) or unforeseen delays, please contact us directly so we can best accommodate you.
Wi-Fi
Free high-speed internet access is available throughout the house.
The Wi-Fi password will be provided upon your arrival.
If you have any connection problems, please don't hesitate to contact us; we'll be happy to help.
Pool
Our swimming pool is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The gates are equipped with child safety locks. It is important that we all ensure they remain closed at all times and that children are supervised at all times. For everyone's safety and comfort, animals, even on leashes, are not allowed in the pool area. Glass glasses or bottles are not permitted in the pool area. If needed, we can provide plastic cups or wine glasses.
Breakfast
We serve breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.
Each morning, your breakfast table will include a selection of hot drinks, fruit juices, bread (plain, sourdough, or multigrain), pastries, homemade jams, and fresh fruit.
You can also add an egg (fried, scrambled, or boiled) and/or a plain yogurt upon request.
We are here to help you every day. Please feel free to let us know your preferences and preferred breakfast time for the following day.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform us in advance so we can adapt our offerings to your needs.
Common areas
La Milane offers several common areas, including a swimming pool, a large park, and a grand lobby.
In the grand lobby, you will find a large breakfast table, a games table, and a lounge area for relaxation.
The kitchen is reserved for our staff.
Tobacco
In accordance with French law, smoking is prohibited inside La Milane.
You may smoke freely in the large park, the private gardens, or on the terraces.
Ashtrays are available. If one is missing, please let us know.
We are located in a high-risk fire region: we ask that you take great care to extinguish your cigarettes completely after use. The consequences of a carelessly discarded cigarette butt can be disastrous.
Animals
Your pets are welcome in the house and the large park, provided they remain on a leash at all times in the common areas.
The large park and private gardens are not intended for pets. Please take them outside these areas.
We provide a fenced area at the entrance to the La Milane estate. Your dogs can run and play there off-leash, to their great delight. We simply ask each owner to leave the area as they found it upon arrival.
As a reminder, they are not allowed in the swimming pool.
To ensure their comfort and avoid any incidents in your absence, please never leave them alone in the accommodation.
You may have already noticed that, on the La Milane estate, an enclosure houses two donkeys, Eglantine and Câline.
They are nearly twenty years old and are an integral part of La Milane.Housekeeping & Laundry
Our team regularly checks the cleanliness and comfort of your accommodation. Please let us know how often you would like us to clean or change the linens. Pool towels are available in the main hall.
Heating & air conditioning
La Milane is equipped with a central underfloor heating and cooling system.
For added comfort, each room and suite also has its own individual air conditioning unit (heat pump), which provides both heating and cooling.
Security
You have a key to your room or suite. Please remember to always lock it.
If your suite includes a garden, an additional key is also provided to secure the side entrance.
We strongly recommend that you place your valuables in the safe provided in each room or suite at La Milane.
